Triple Berry Spinach Smoothie
Frozen blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries blended with orange juice and spinach. Vibrant, fresh, and packed with goodness — you can't taste the spinach at all.
Ingredients
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 1/2 cups loosely packed baby spinach
- Honey or agave syrup, if needed
Instructions
- Add the orange juice, frozen berries, and spinach to a blender.
- Blend on medium-high speed until completely smooth with no visible green specks from the spinach.
- Taste and add up to 2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup if you'd like it sweeter.
- Add ice cubes if you prefer a colder, icier drink.
- Pour and serve immediately.
Notes
- The spinach: Despite a full 1.5 cups of spinach, you genuinely cannot taste it. The berries completely mask it.
- Frozen fruit: Using frozen fruit means the smoothie is already ice-cold without needing extra ice, which would dilute the flavour.
- Sweetness: Ripe berries may not need any added sweetener at all — taste before adding honey.
- Colour: This smoothie turns a gorgeous deep purple-red — the spinach is completely hidden by the berries.
