Triple Berry Spinach Smoothie

Triple Berry Spinach Smoothie

Frozen blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries blended with orange juice and spinach. Vibrant, fresh, and packed with goodness — you can't taste the spinach at all.

Prep: 5 min Cook: 0 min Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 1/2 cups loosely packed baby spinach
  • Honey or agave syrup, if needed

Instructions

  1. Add the orange juice, frozen berries, and spinach to a blender.
  2. Blend on medium-high speed until completely smooth with no visible green specks from the spinach.
  3. Taste and add up to 2 tablespoons of honey or agave syrup if you'd like it sweeter.
  4. Add ice cubes if you prefer a colder, icier drink.
  5. Pour and serve immediately.

Notes

  • The spinach: Despite a full 1.5 cups of spinach, you genuinely cannot taste it. The berries completely mask it.
  • Frozen fruit: Using frozen fruit means the smoothie is already ice-cold without needing extra ice, which would dilute the flavour.
  • Sweetness: Ripe berries may not need any added sweetener at all — taste before adding honey.
  • Colour: This smoothie turns a gorgeous deep purple-red — the spinach is completely hidden by the berries.
